Making the complicated simple

Open Source

We use, and encourage you to use, this free software

Open Source is a 'community' endeavour by dedicated programmers around the world, which results in high quality software for all. Users are encouraged to offer feedback and to report errors, which are generally very quickly implemented.

"The basic idea behind open source is very simple: When programmers can read, redistribute, and modify the source code for a piece of software, the software evolves. People improve it, people adapt it, people fix bugs. And this can happen at a speed that, if one is used to the slow pace of conventional software development, seems astonishing." www.opensource.org

We use only Open Source software for our business and for customers' websites.

Updates are automatic and there are hundreds of useful 'add-ons. Changing to Firefox is very easy and favourites can be imported from Internet Explorer ensuring a smooth changeover.
