Style guide
A consistent style helps the user
In addition to layout and navigation, consistency in writing style is important.
We normally use our house style to produce a coherent website look.
The general style guidelines that we follow wherever possible and appropriate:
- Informative titles and headings
- Active voice
- No unnecessary words, phrases or content
- Technical, legal, and financial jargon changed to everyday language
- Capital letters used for a specific purpose
- Standard UK English, standard Australian English as appropriate

Our first project in 1998.
In 2006 this largely unchanged site won the area's 'Best Website' award.
The site is updated by the community via simple webpage-based system.
